Michael F. Baumann, 3rd is an Independent Financial Services Professional. Mike took an accelerated graduation from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. Mike's prior work with the Small Business Administration and his Wharton financial background caught the eye of executives at Merrill Lynch. After a brief stay in the Melbourne, FL branch, Mike left Merrill to found Honor Financial Group, Inc. The timing was extraordinary. Two weeks later, the stock market crashed. It was October, 1987.
Over the years, Mike has consulted with a wide variety of clients. He assists both pre-retirees and those in retirement, specializing in ages 55 and up, as well as extended families. His client's careers span all walks of life, including business owners, doctors, attorneys, realtors, bankers, accountants, and employees of Fortune 500 companies.
Mike currently holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 full securities licenses, and is insurance licensed as well. He has completed extensive coursework, including a 20-part program, providing expertise in many areas related to retirees' issues, including housing, health issues, and of course, retiree finances and estate planning.
In addition, Mike has extensive expertise in the areas of IRA and other asset distribution and preservation strategies for future generations. He specializes in stretching distributions from qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, working with his clients to generate multiple streams of lifetime income for their beneficiaries (spouse, children, and grandchildren).
Mike speaks regularly on various financial topics, both locally and on a national scale, having been a keynote speaker at financial events. He is a founding member of Honor Educational Services, providing educational programs to employer groups, churches, and organizations for the benefit of their employees, members, and associates.
Living in Indian Harbour Beach, FL, with his lovely wife Robin, Mike enjoys golfing, snow skiing, exercising, and traveling.
Robin R. Baumann is an alumnus of the Florida Institute of Technology, where she majored in accounting. She also is insurance licensed.
Early in her career, Robin worked in a major public accounting firm, where she managed the bookkeeping staff. This exposed her to a huge variety of accounting and tax situations, concerning both individual and business tax returns. Immediately prior to joining our practice, she was the accountant for a large property and casualty insurance firm.
Currently, Robin splits her time between handling our client's service issues, scheduling educational events, and preparing all of our firm's accounting needs.
Robin is an avid reader, golfer, and world traveler.
